Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is among the most visited park in the North. The elephants and the baobabs are the main attractions. There are countless loops around the central Tarangire River where you will find the largest concentration of herbivores. In this more remote, but easily accessible park, you will find many other tourists, mostly on high seasons. On a good day you will come across a lion, leopard and maybe even a cheetah.

Day 2 to 4: Serengeti National Park
Via Ngorongoro Conservation Area we will drive to the mythical Serengeti National Park The name Serengeti comes from the Masaai word Siringit, which stands for endless plane. On these grass planes,with an area covering 14,750km², you will not only find the 1.5 million wildebeest, gazelles and zebras that are part of the migration, you will also find unparalleled numbers of lions, leopards and cheetahs. National Geographic described it as “the biggest wildlife show on earth.” Stay at Osinon Tented Camp for two nights (upgrades possible to Sound of Silence, Siringit Serengeti Camp)

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
A brisk day trip follows from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). In the NCA, the Maasai tribe lives in unison with the wild animals.
A three hour drive from Serengeti is the world-famous Ngorongoro crater at an altitude of 2300 meters, from which yields spectacular views.
In the afternoon we will go on a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. The crater has a large concentration of hyenas, lions and even rhinos! In the afternoon, we leave the crater and drive to Arusha.

Day 6: Osiligilai Maasai Lodge
It is a 3-4 hour drive to Kilimanjaro and the beautiful end of the trip. The Osiligilai Maasai is a phenomenal lodge with a beautiful view of the Masaai plains between Mt.Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru.From the lodge you may likely get a chance to see herds of Elephants, Giraffes and other herbivores. The
lodge is secluded in the savannah and is operated by the local Maasai community. Your accommodations will include a large family room and a double bedroom. Here you will be immersed in a unique and very comfortable way in the life of the Masaai tribe; experience the peace, culture and adventure. The meals are delightful; Western norms meets local customs and ingredients and is of excellent quality. There are also many optional activities at the lodge
for your group.

Day 7: Sightseeing and departure
En-route to the airport, you will explore the village life around Kilimanjaro including a visit to a local school to meet the children. An extended stay in Zanzibar is of course possible.
